How long will it take for you to ship my order? Other shipping info I should know? Can I pick my order up?
On average, your order should be completed and out the door within 1- 3 days. However, during busy times of the year it could take up to 4 or 5 days to get it out the door. I try to keep a number of products in stock and ready to be personalized speeding the process up.
I use Canada Post exclusively for shipping. Each order will come with a tracking number that will be emailed to you the same day it is shipped. You can than keep an eye on where your order is!
FREE LOCAL PICK UP is for customers who want to save on shipping and can meet me at my work space, which is now in the same location as a small junk store called LEFTOVERS JUNK SHOP. The address is 4544 Queen St Niagara Falls Ontario Canada. When the order is ready I will send out an email and we can sort out a time!

What type of leather are you using?
I handpick the best quality full grain leather from my distributors. Full grain is one piece of hide, it is durable and ages well. I do not use any bonded, genuine, or low-end full grain leather. Those products do not last or wear in well. In my opinion, "genuine leather" is deceiving, it is like ordering a steak for dinner and getting a hotdog in disguise.
Should I care for my leather and if so how?
Yes you should. Like all high quality products, from cars, to jeans, to leather dress shoes, they deserve and benefit from some care every few months. There is no right or wrong when choosing what product to use on your new veg tan item; mink oil, neatsfoot oil, saddle conditioners, and hide rejuvenators are all a great choice. Anything is better than nothing and each will give your item a different look. Each product will have a different effect on your leather. Most will darken it significantly speeding up the one of a kind process.
Just, please do not go to a big box store and buy something in a spray can.
Why does my item seem darker or lighter than what was in the photo?
It is just the nature of working with the VEG leather. I have no control over what shade of tan you end up with. I spend many hours hand picking the leather I purchase from my distributors, which in turn gets you cleaner leather as far as not having bug bites, branding and scaring. But, every piece has a different shade to it and I just can't get so picky as to end up with all the same shade of tan... I would never get any work done ... in the end veg tan ends up a darker brown the more use it gets. Please check out some veg tan items that have aged by clicking here.
Why does my product look slightly different than in the photos?
Each piece is made by hand, therefore, no two products are exactly the same. I use the same template for each item, but they are cut out one at a time with a knife, not a press. I may change a rivet or a snap here and there without updating the photo, but I assure you any major changes or new designs will get a new photo and description.
What is your warranty and return exchange policy?
As most of my items will be made to order and personalized I do not offer exchanges or refunds. SO PLEASE MEASURE CAREFULLY! Triple-check your spelling and read my descriptions.
Of course I will back up my work. If a screw comes loose and gets lost, I'll send you a new one. If a rivet pops we will work something out, just send me an email. I am very fair but can't replace things from wear and tear.
The item I want is out of stock, when will I be able to order it?
If an item is out of stock, it means that I have sold out of hard wear (buckles, clasps, snaps...). As I hand pick everything, it means a trip to my distributor. Unless they are out of stock, I should have my items re-stocked within two weeks.
Why did you not respond to my question on a social media site?
Those sites are great for quick, fun connections, but they are very unreliable for asking questions and placing orders. Hit the contact button and I will respond to your inquiries as soon as possible.
Where are you shipping from and what currency is your shop in?
I am in the heart of the Niagara Region, Ontario, Canada.
Prices are in Canadian dollars along with shipping costs.
Do you take on custom orders and repair jobs?
The short answer is no. If you have seen a stamp I have used in person or online chances are I can add that to most anything on the site here, just send me an email first. But as far as making a custom one off piece, I do not take those projects on. So that means no watch straps, no tool belts, no knife rolls or sheaths, no shoes, no masks, no suspenders etc etc. Also I do not do repairs on other peoples work... I can recommend someone to you if you wish, just email me.
